Here you will find correspondence with the CPS, evidence that Cumbria Police lost in 2001 (pregnancy termination and records from Alison’s Psychiatrist) this was the same evidence the NHS was given but did not share with the Police. A letter from North Cumbria NHS apologising for Scott-Buccleuch’s behaviour and a handwritten note from the Investigation in 2001. This note shows Cumbria Police knew an illegal relationship existed but chose not to pursue the matter because they felt it would “involve a lot of work”…bless them, I hear you say.

The investigation into North Lakeland Healthcare NHS Trust Nov 2000

The last link above is a report into North Lakeland Healthcare from November 2000. It shows North Cumbria NHS were focused on managing their reputation when I first approached them in 2001, I was unaware and the timing of my approach could not have been worse. The report shows on page 44 a former Police Commander on the board of the NHS Trust at the time of the first investigation in 2001. The presence of a former Police Commander on the board of the NHS Trust might explain why the original investigation was brushed under the carpet, it would only be fair to note stranger things have happened. Cumbria Police have never had a reputation as the most transparent Police Force on the block.
