Here you will find various correspondence as well as copies of the original evidence Cumbria Police lost in 2001 (pregnancy termination record and notes from Alison’s Psychiatrist) this was the same evidence the NHS were given but did not share with the Police. As well as a strangely worded letter apologizing for Scott-Buccleuch’s behaviour there is a handwritten note from the Investigation in 2001. It shows Cumbria Police knew an illegal relationship existed but chose not to pursue the matter because they felt it would “involve a lot of work”…bless them, I hear you say.

The investigation into North Lakeland Healthcare NHS Trust Nov 2000

The final link above is a report from November 2000. It suggests North Cumbria NHS were focused on managing their reputation when I first approached them in 2001, I was unaware and the timing of my approach could not have been worse. The report shows on page 44 a former Police Commander on the board of the NHS Trust at the time of the first investigation in 2001. The presence of a former Police Commander on the board of the NHS Trust might explain why the original investigation was brushed under the carpet, I am not a conspiracy theorist but it would only be wise to note that stranger things have happened.

Do you know someone who might have been abused in Garlands Clinic?
